Flatwoods Monster – 1952
From the annals of the really bizarre, the Flatwoods Monster appeared in Flatwoods, WV in 1952. Several boys and three of the boys’ mother, Kathleen May, (pictured below) witnessed this creature coming toward them in the woods. It was said to be 10-12 ft. tall. Many people reported getting sick, and smelling something foul when the creature came near.
This was the inspiration for the monster I wrote for the Pathfinder Adventure Path #61, Shards of Sin.
So I’m terrible at Cards Against Humanity, as it turns out, but I did like this hand.
