Excuse my ignorance, but holy fuck I personally had no idea the US and UK were actively trying to block occult sites. Which ones have they tried to block and where can we find more info?

it may be a little oversimplified but it’s a good starting point to get what’s actually going on

like scrollofthoth, I am pissed off that the world is terrible. But probably for very different reasons from scrollofthoth. But we both have pretty good reasons and this is a good reason to be pissed off and also read scrollofthoth’s post on Activist Magick. This would have a lot to do with that.

Magicians need to keep their eyes on earthly matters just as much as they should spiritual ones. It’s the duty of the strong to protect the weak, and it’s the duty of the magician to be in contact with the suffering and injustice of the world lest he a) believe he has found perfection and stops looking for it or trying to attain it and b) gives back nothing and therefore fails one of the most defining qualities for a successful Great Work. 

And quite frankly magicians should be the last people letting their spirituality cloud their awareness of the world the way a lot of exoteric practices tend to. The entire point is to clear your vision of reality.
