Stone ships at the foot of Anundshög (Anund’s Mound) in Sweden. This was a Thing place and dates to between 210 – 540 CE. The central stone alongside the mound (p.o.v. of the photo) holds the runic inscription: “Folkvid raised all of these stones after his son Heden, Anund’s brother. Vred carved the runes.”
