Spring Breakers isn’t just a terrible movie, it reinforces rape culture

Ugh, so yeah, I agree that the rape culture is an issue all over the world. However, part of that is because people think because a woman who wants sex and has sex as often and with whom she wants is a abomination.

This slant that good girls go wild and get raped is ridiculous. Women get raped because men are doing the deed – no other reason. Men didn’t listen to NO, or they raped her while she was passed out. A woman should be able to have sex, and often without a preconceived notion of being immoral. This article misses that point – men who rape are at fault – PERIOD!
