Insisting on correct grammar is racist?
No. It’s grammar. It’s an established means of using written and spoken language. It’s indicative of the education one needs to be aware of grammatical rules. There’s absolutely nothing racist about it.
However, insisting upon correct grammar outside of a classroom setting is SUPER DOUCHEY. That I can get behind.
Language is ever mutable. Shakespeare invented over 1,700 words. Never forget that language shapes our thoughts. When you confine language, you confine reason itself.
