Please Tell Me

I can really use some help making some decisions that may make me a better publisher.

If a book is electronic only, does that stop you from buying the book (by preference or an inability to use ebooks)?

Would you purchase the complete edition of My Babylon, which would be the length of a standard novel, in a trade paperback edition for $15?

Things need not have happened to be true. Tales and dreams are the shadow-truths that will endure when mere facts are dust and ashes, and forgot.

Becoming a full-time writer is a long process, and I’m afraid my lack of employment is catching up with me. I believe that the Scroll of Thoth podcast provides information and entertainment, and I hope folks have been enjoying it. However, it does cost money I don’t really have right now.

I’m asking those who listen to consider donating a buck-a-show. To do this, I’ve added a paypal button to the website.

You can also use our Amazon search window to find products on Amazon, and we get a few pennies every time you buy.

If you enjoy the Scroll of Thoth podcast, please consider helping the show. (And my other podcast, Geeks Out After Dark, too.)

Infopic on TULPAS. Tulpa, meaning to “build" or “construct",  is a concept in mysticism of a being or object which is created through sheer discipline alone.

It is a materialized thought that has taken physical form and is usually regarded as synonymous to a thoughtform.

Creating a Tulpa requires hours, days, even up to years of honing your creative mental faculties. Tulpa’s sound like a fun idea, but can serve to be HIGHLY dangerous, leeching beings. They can drain you of your lifeforce if you don’t know how to control it and can utterly destroy your life in multiple ways.

Creation of Tulpas is to be left to the most advanced magick practitioners.

HOKAY I was about to take a nap and then saw this.

  • The word tulpa originally means thoughtform.
  • The word tulpa has taken to mean, within the western occult traditions, a thoughtform gone bad. Usually conflicting with your self.
  • The Tulpa tag on this website is a cancerous mass because apparently bronies have chosen to make tulpas of ponies, among other types, and actually live in an invented system and some have even claimed that the “original" self is no longer present and the tulpa has become the default and I don’t even fucking know what the fuck is going on in this fucking website half the time.

Also thoughtforms are very dangerous, but at the same time they are harmless. They are an extension of your Will, much like Angels are the extensions of God’s Will. You can do with them what you please for you are their Creator and God.

If you can’t control a thoughtform you create successfully, well, what the Hell are you doing practicing magic(k) in the first place?

NOW THEN. I shall be taking a nap for an hour or two.
