Many gods and goddesses are connected to wolves. Yet more have wolves as their sacred animals or faithful guardians. The spirit of the wolf is in all cultures, and is often a symbol of death, be it spiritual or physical.
As you enter the w
olf den, you can hear the sweet sound of pups. Warily you edge closer, and see their eyes are still tightly shut. The great Wolf Mother smiles at you as the pups nurse.
