“We’re left with a homage to the worst of spring break. It’s a film that tells young women that the “time of their life” is getting drunk and exposing themselves to guys. And we wonder why we have problems with rape culture.”
Ugh, so yeah, I agree that the rape culture is an issue all over the world. However, part of that is because people think because a woman who wants sex and has sex as often and with whom she wants is a abomination.
This slant that good girls go wild and get raped is ridiculous. Women get raped because men are doing the deed – no other reason. Men didn’t listen to NO, or they raped her while she was passed out. A woman should be able to have sex, and often without a preconceived notion of being immoral. This article misses that point – men who rape are at fault – PERIOD!
Christianity did not destroy Paganism, it adopted it.
