Corylus and Thuja for April’s full moon. Experimenting with a different design method; these have more frills and spurious additions than my designs usually do. 🙂
So jelly of your sigil work. I’ve been working on mine so I can add them to my carvings.
I am designing some fetiche bottles for my familiar spirits, and wanted sigils for Raven and Wolf on them. I took your advice of using the scientific name, and they actually turned out okay.
I’m horrible and I have no clue what’s going on in either of these.
But esp the one on the left- I see people dancing XDD

As far as I’m aware about how sigils work, they’re are supposed to call to the drawer’s deep mind, and not necessarily to anyone else, unless they know what it is for. From my understanding, in the creation of the sigil, the sigil eventually becomes so far removed from the original drawing/sketch that the conscious mind is no longer away of what it does, but the subconscious does know. Which is why it works.
…Or something, I don’t know.
