I wish this wasn’t so alarmist, because there’s plenty here to be alarmed about. “1 in 2 webcams can be hacked” is a totally meaningless statistic. And of course, the phone in your pocket can do all of these things right now. Perhaps list the powers the government has under the Patriot Act. Perhaps list the times Microsoft and other companies have just rolled over and handed the justice department everything that wanted.
