when at last you find someone to whom you feel you can pour out your soul, you stop in shock at the words your utter – they are so rusty, so ugly, so meaningless and feeble from being kept in the small cramped dark inside you so long.

Protests in Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and other Brazilian cities, set off by a 10-cent hike in public transport fares, have clearly moved beyond that issue to tap into widespread frustration in Brazil about a heavy tax burden, politicians widely viewed as corrupt and woeful public education, health and transport systems and come as the nation hosts the Confederations Cup soccer tournament and prepares for next month’s papal visit. Ever just get bored and start on a project without knowing where it will end up? Yep. That would be one of *THOSE* projects. Hubband took a class on Sunday that talked about magic circles – names of deity that mean something to you vs just the “typical” or traditional names, etc. This led me to really trying to figure out which names of deity I would use – which led to “Oh, look! SEVEN! (and self!)” So if I were going to build a circle (which I was basically trained NOT to use… long story) it would be a hepta/septagram. Worked out a design, then went “I WANT COLORS!” turned it rainbow – then stumbled into Peter Carroll and 8 colors of magic – why not do a little of that. *tosses a handful of this and that in to the pot, stir* Out came this. Soooo. I have names that I’m personally going to replace the magic type names – and my Octarine is a chartreuse (which is a brilliant story with lots of cool symbolism that I’ll get to in a little bit). YAY! So there it my heptagram’ish thing with cool colors, magical type color coding and a nifty fucking filter.
