ravenousnightwind:

God of thunder. He is the son of Odin and Jord, and one of the most powerful gods. His greatest enemy is Jormungand, the Midgard Serpent. At the day of Ragnarok, Thor will kill this serpent but will die from its poison. His sons will inherit his hammer after his death.

Thor has called to me and I shall honor him every Thursday. For that day is named after him. He is a god of righteousness and fertility. He brings the thunderstorms of the spring so that the crops may be fertile. He brings protection to the home and is the protector of human-kind against the fierce forces of the ancient Giant-kin, known as the Jotanar. He uses brute strength and wit of common sense to defeat his foes and those who he protects, he offers straightforward and blunt advice. He is a god held high upon human-kind and he deserves my respect and honor in my home.

Nine Inch Nails: “Came Back Haunted.” The new single from the forthcoming album “Hesitation Marks,” out September 3rd. Download “Came Back Haunted” on nin.com and iTunes starting June 6th.

I don’t know if it will be the best song on the album, but you have to give him credit for making something that has both funk and drone.
