Sold a lot of my old RPG books today. Some which I was a contributing author. Some where given to me by game companies I did work for. I’m feeling a little nostalgia, but I’m okay. We needed the money. And they are just things. Now I will be able to eat food while at GenCon.
At least I haven’t resorted to selling my magical books.

Today in labor history, July 28, 1869: Women shoemakers in Lynn, Massachusetts, form the Daughters of St. Crispin, demanding pay equal to that of men. It was modeled on and supported by the Knights of St. Crispin, the national shoe workers union, which went on record supporting equal pay for equal work. The Daughters of St. Crispin is recognized as the first national union of women.

The Electronomicon is a book of seven printed-circuit-board (PCB) talismans representing seven magical servitors corresponding to the seven non-octarine colors of Chaos magic [4].
The talismans’ electrical conductivity allows them to act as switches in electronic systems (either passing a current or not), and also allows for novel forms of ritually “charging” them. The sigils were drawn by Dakota Crane, then etched and consecrated by myself at auspicious times. The names of the corresponding servitors were divined during a series of Ouranos Rites [5], and used to charge the talismans by transducing the intonations of the names to analogously variable voltages connected to the corresponding sigils. The servitors were evoked by Meta-Magick techniques [6] that were combined with the process for charging the talismans. Josh is the man 🙂 He used to be in my Chaote Theory And Perspective group on Facebook and we have a chat every once in a while. He’s always busy, though. I miss that guy.
He’s my favorite modern magician. I plan on just throwing money at him if I’m able to when I’m older and a plastic surgeon.
