Main altar – pre-samhain

The middle part (surrounded by ten small white candles) is a timeline of the cycle represented by the Samhain celebration. The Godly couple fated to an end, circled by Death’s chains (resting in the Sun(God)’s domain). This death announces a new beginning, a new birth, an egg, and in the end, the world will regain/keep its balance (Libra incense!!!).
Two white candles on golden holders to represent the God and Goddess. Lowest part has three fire-related offerings : all have the purpose to be burned. Bonefire-scented incense on the left, Libra incense in the middle and cleansing sage on the right.
Thirteen little white candles in silver holders, since the tarot card for Death is number thirteen, and in numerology the number 13 is associated with new beginnings.
I think this altar is very simple-looking, but serves its purpose very well!
