So would another giveaway help me get to 1,000 followers? How would I run it? I don’t want to give a free book to the 1,000th follower, I’d rather give it to someone who helped me get there. Perhaps a nice, “You should follow Scroll of Thoth because….” post can get you in the drawing. When I think about it, I wonder if I would ever participate in something like that.

Or am I just being a narcissistic shit? Does anyone even want a free book I wrote? Is wanting a 1,000 followers banal and self-important? Is it disingenuous to say I work hard on a blog?

I am now losing followers. I deserve it. Still think I can 1,000 by Halloween. Also, my blog lacks a sense of humor.
