The Big 1K
I’ve finally done it. I’ve broke the 1,000 follower barrier. Maybe I’m giving it more attention than it deserves, but dammit, I’m happy about it for so many reasons.
Part of it I’m sure comes from left-over adolescent angst about never being the popular kid. I admit it, even at forty-two, I’m still carrying baggage.
But I’m mostly happy because I enjoy tumblr. I enjoy the things I see here. I like the people I’ve met and I like re-blogging and enjoy creating the small amount of original content I produce.
Which is lucky for me as a self-published writer that I have a platform to talk about my books. I am eternally grateful to everyone who puts up with my incessant book-pimping. At least at feels that way to me. Please, if you enjoy this blog at all never hesitate to tell me to cut it out. Let me know if the book stuff is distracting from what you enjoy on Scroll of Thoth.
A huge sincere thanks to all the people who follow me. I would make a list of all the great people who have helped me out through this blog but I’m sure I’d forget someone. If you’ve ever reblogged anything about my writing or my magick please believe that I appreciate you every fucking day. There’s times it has kept me going when nothing else seems to go right.
Here’s to another 1,000 and all the amazing people I’ll meet along the way.
