Detail of the gods Artemis, Pan and Apollon from a painting depicting the exposure of the infant Aigisthos, son of Thyestes. Artemis wears a quiver and holds in her hands a bow and arrows. The tiny figure of Pan, or Paniskos (little Pan), holds a conch-shell horn, and bow and quiver hanging from a club. Apollon is seated with a branch of laurel, swan and leopard.
