Birthday of occult author and one-time Crowley secretary Israel Regardie, who published all of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn’s rituals after it’s demise.  The other former members weren’t exactly thrilled about that.

A comic about why witches are stereotyped as riding broom:

Apparently once upon a time there was an ointment one could rub on a broom – that was most popular amongst herbalists (such as many witches) – that was a hallucinogenic. One would ride the broom for masturbating purposes and the ointment would be absorbed through the mucus membrane of the vagina and give the rider a sensation of flying.

Now you will never look at Quidditch the same way again.

How about that.

Hello again, I read your reply and now I’m replying back to you in order to address a few things: English is my first language and I speak it very well, the reason I wrote to you was not to spread hate mail, but out of genuine concern for what you post, and finally the name of my blog is “More Than Known”, I can’t post a link due to the message but you may visit it if you feel so inclined. Besides, I would love to have a nice long chat with you. I look forward to hearing your reply.

My ignorance has been corrected.

With that out of the way, what’s your beef? Which posts have you concerned?

magicalrecord:

I am proud to say that today I have been accepted as a novice in the Illuminates of Thanateros. To celebrate, I am skipping today’s practice as I have a feeling it will be the last day I skip for a very long time.

There may be some minor changes to this blog. It has never been the entirety of my magical record, only that which I choose to share. My oaths as a novice prevent me from disseminating any training given to me specifically by my mentor. However, I will continue to post my work with MMM, as that text is open to anyone.

Praise Thoth!

Ave Babalon!
