We get sent a lot of images of Babalon.
This one arrived in our inbox today so we thought we would share.
Artist unknown, signature too small for us to read.

My completed book!!!
A lot of tears and frustrated love went into this project- worth it in the end.
I have a lot of spare prints in different paper types and sizes too. Very excited to see how the different versions will look like!
The Ishtar Gate, main gate of Babylon built during the reign of Nebuchadnezzar II (605-562 BCE). Enamelled tiles, mythical animals, lions, and gods embellish the gate which was dedicated to goddess Ishtar of Babylon, Mesopotamia (Iraq). now in Berlin
I don’t know how I feel about this. It really chaffs my ass that I have to hide my real name on my writing because I want to get a “public” job. Even thought the name change might attract new readers, because hey, it’s not like I have a huge fan base now.
I wonder how much it will matter. I wonder if it will really make a difference. I wonder if I need to do this in order to get any job.
I am open to opinions?

Snow Falls On Pyramids -First Time In 100 Years! December 2013
Cairo has been transformed into a winter wonderland after a “historic” storm in the Middle East brought a rare treat to Egypt’s capital on Friday: a blanket of powdery, white snow.
Due to Cairo’s low rate of precipitation and typically above-freezing winter temperatures, snow is an exceptionally unusual weather phenomenon for the North African city. So unusual, in fact, that the Los Angeles Times, citing local news reports, writes that the last recorded snowfall in Cairo was more than 100 years ago.
Yayyyyyy phenomena
