Mid-Words Arts is a “writers collective.” We are a group of indie authors helping each other self-publish. That includes marketing, creating files, sharing information, and most importantly – critiquing and editing each other’s work. While a lot of self-published stuff suffers from a lack of editing, we have a team of fellow writers and editors that make sure nothing gets published without living up to the same expectations of quality as a book from one of the major publishers. I started tonight with all the data for this mandala — of alchemy, geomancy, and astrology — on those blue sticky notes. With one exception, and some inking, all the outline work is done. Now I’m debating whether to add color to the illustrations or not. What do you think: more color, or leave it mostly black and white?
