Report Tells the Story of Brazil’s First Nations Dispossessed of Their Land, Erased by FIFA

In the more than year since we first published a post on the forceful removal of a Brazilian Indigenous group from a Rio de Janeiro community center by authorities making way for the 2014 World Cup and 2016 Olympics, not much has changed.

The World Cup is now just days away, and while FIFA has no mention of Brazil’s First Nations in its literature, organizations like Survival International are making sure they’re included in the story.
