A prayer, from a Chaote.
(Lights a Candle, any candle will do. Lights some incense, I have a nice assortment. Pulls out a peace of paper and begins to write.)

I open the gate of the 1 … The fool of infinity
(Draws a circle Clockwise)

I open the gate of the 3 … Mind, Body and Soul.
(Draws a Triangle, Clockwise)
–
I open the gate of the 5 … Earth, Water, Fire, Wind and the Void.
(Draws a pentacle, Clockwise)
–
I open the gate of the 7 … Sloth, Gluttony, Envy, Greed, Wrath, Pride and Lust
(Draws a Heptagram, Clockwise)
–
I open the gate of the 9 … War, Thought, Sex, Ego, Love, Wealth, Death, Quintessence, Chaos.
(Draws the Star of chaos, naming each spoke then drawing a circle for chaos in the middle)

Demons and Angels hear my call!
Order and Chaos hear my call!
Grant my will!
Bend to my desire!

Protect me from those who seek to do harm.
Give me the power to protect the weak from oppression.
Make me a force of balance, fill my heart with compassion and let it burn with rage.
Oh Spirits! Make me a conduit of the creativity of the infinite cosmos!
Whisper unto me! Babble in my ear! Speak madness so that I may make sense of it with pen and paper!
Oh demons and angels walk with me all the days of my life so that I may know the truth of myself.
Let my eyes never be blind. Let my thirst never be quenched.
Oh spirits you will deliver these things unto me, and for that I am grateful.

(lights paper with the symbols on fire and lets it burn to ash. If the paper burns completely, the prayer will be answered soon. The faster it burns the quicker the reply will be. If the paper does not burn completely the ritual will need to be performed again tomorrow, something was amiss and the cosmic forces didn’t get the entire message. I don’t perform the ritual again that day, the spirits invoked by this spell hate spam. So I wait till tomorrow.)
