Seal of Planets –
From the top left descending: The Sun, the Moon, nestled in the “Horns” of Mercury is the Star, which then becomes Venus (note the inverted Seal of Sulphur), then Saturn.
On the right, descending: Earth, which touches Mars – and Uranus – which sit on the bough of Jupiter, to the left is Pluto and its moon, Charon, all of which rest on the inverted Trident of Neptune.
As far as uses go, best for works involving: Cosmic Oneness, Completion, Unity, Balance, Collective Archetypes and Community. Also, micro-cosmically for things involving the faceted psyche, consciousness or soul.
Esao Andrews for “The Gilded Age” at Thinkspace Gallery.
Opening on Saturday, September 12th at Thinkspace Gallery in Los Angeles, California is the extremely anticipated three person exhibition, “The Gilded Age,” featuring the epic work of Esao Andrews, Aaron Horkey, and Joao Ruas. Above is Esao’s contribution for the show which as a whole is described as “[A] fortuitous result of a seemingly unlikely petproject, and a rare and unprecedented opportunity for collectors, fans and enthusiasts to see these three illustrative giants wring life from inanimate sands.”
Esao is considered (and I strongly share this sentiment) a master of the New Contemporary art world, for Andrews creates “emotive narratives and allegories through the intuitive juxtaposition of imagery. Often combining
human and natural worlds in a mashup of symbolic gestures, Andrews’ highly detailed works resonate

Sigils are the means of guiding and uniting the partially free belief with an organic desire, its carriage and retention till its purpose served in the sub-conscious self, and its means of reincarnation in the Ego. All thought can be expressed by form in true relation. Sigils are monograms of thought, for the government of energy (all heraldry, crests, monograms, are Sigils and the Karmas they govern), relating to Karma; a mathematical means of symbolising desire and giving it form that has the virtue of preventing any thought and association on that particular desire (at the magical time), escaping the detection of the Ego, so that it does not restrain or attach such desire to its own transitory images, memories and worries, but allows it free passage to the sub-consciousness.
