witchbeyondwords:

I see so many posts about spirit work vehemently proclaiming that it’s only ever one of two extremes, either extremely dangerous or mildly annoying at best… But to be honest, spirit work can be neither of those things or both. Some people will only ever deal with mediocre spirits their entire lives, some people will only ever deal with silly spirits, some people will only ever deal dangerous spirits and some people will deal with a mix or all of them! And that’s the honest truth about spirit work. No two people will ever experience it the exact same way!

here’s something i’m confused about. as a trans man, in magic terms would i be considered “a woman” as per women being “the best witches,” where does this come from? where is the line drawn? not meaning to be antagonistic but spiritually speaking i definitely feel way more male than anything else, just as in how i express my physical identity, but it is baffling to parse this in terms of how people who are not trans see it, i’m not sure i understand what “category” im in here

Any category you want to be in. We have trans members in the IOT and they take whichever role they are feeling at the time.

Perhaps you missed the hyperbole. Just a shot out to my wonderful sorors. But I by no means leave out my fraters, and my sators (an honorific the IOT uses for those who do not wish to choose a gender).

I’m so annoyed I just want to know what really happens at bohemian grove

Them Black Brothers do their own magick. Believe it.

Yeah but what’s involved

I’m probably breaking oaths here. Oh well. From what I’ve read, they sound an awful lot like an IOT meeting. Of course, we’re not dumb enough to kick out the women. They are the best witches in the game.
