The Krewe of Toth Mardi Gras Parade was on Sunday, February 26th this year. It also happens to be the birthday of the gentleman playing Mr. Ibis in the upcoming adaptation.

Seems like divine providence, no?

I would give much for one of those Thoth pendants. Seriously. If anyone knows where I can get one or is willing to trade or sell one they have I would appreciate it.

Okay, this was the last time I posted a picture of an actual tattoo. This was posted November 22, 2016. What we have here is a picture of Baphomet. The first recorded use of Baphomet as a symbol was by French ocultist Eliphas Levi. The name Baphomet came from records of the trials of the Knights Templar. They were accused of worshiping a mummified head named Baphomet. Many scholars believe it to be a cognate or mispronunciation of Mohammed. The idea being that the Templars had been converted to the religion of their enemy.

Levi used Baphomet at an alchemical cipher. Baphomet contained elements of both animal and man, divine and profane, male and female. Full bodied drawings of Baphomet usually include the words “solve” (solvent), and “colagula” (colagulate) on either arm–two of the major alchemical principles.

Baphomet was later adopted by neo-pagans as a representation of the Horned God. By chaos magicians as a representation of the Gaia principle and magick in general. Baphomet is considered the main egregore of the Illuminates of Thanateros.  He has also been adopted by various satanist and luciferian groups as a representation of the sabbitic goat.

Did that answer your question anon?

Hello! What is the meaning of this tattoo?

Since they asked anon I feel I can be a little mean.

What tattoo? What are you talking about? Is it on of my several thousand posts? Is this a test of my psychic ability?

Also, you should probably ask the owner. If you would like my thoughts on a particular occult symbol, I would be happy to oblige. Just keep in mind many of those symbols meant different things to different people at different times. Just because it was historically used for one purpose, doesn’t mean it hasn’t changed over time. The pentagram is a perfect example. What does it mean? At this point, just about anything you want.
