Apply the following equation to both forms:
M = GL (1- A) (1-R)
Pm = P + (1-P)M1/p
Okay seriously, I think I know what you’re asking. My first reaction is to ridicule, but this question does come from a place of sincere belief, which is more than most magicians have.
I’m not saying I haven’t used either one in magick, I have. But you have a thinking error here, in that you are viewing these actions as some kind of commodity. As if they are magical money you spend to get results. You really need to divorce yourself from that kind of thinking. Magick does not work that way.
Do your yoga. Check out Liber MMM. Or my own Liber F. Start noticing the magical things going on around you. Keep a journal for that if it helps. Start working some divination system on the regular. Magick is about flow. It’s not about do x to get y (nor is it about Peter J. Carroll’s equation above). Magick is not about doing spells (though you should do some every once in a while). Magick is about being a magician.
What’s most important is developing a consistent and coherent paradigm within a well thought out and researched historical context.
Oh yeah, and do some sigils. Fuck, if you really want to test your hypothesis, launch one sigil with blood and another with sexual fluids and see which one works best
¯_(ツ)_/¯
