Honestly I don’t know why I am letting this get to me. I primarily use a “nonstandard” tarot deck (The Tarot of Ceremonial Magick by Lon Milo DuQuette) and I misidentified a Major Arcana. Even though I was exhausted last night from a couple of ten hour workdays and not feeling well in general there’s no excuse. The fucking number is right on the card. I still think the reading was correct but I’m supposed to be a professional godsdamnit. How do I make contrition to Thoth? Write a hundred times, “I will pay attention to the fucking cards?” (And why does the correct punctuation at the end of that sentence look wrong?)
Maybe I overestimated my recovery. I am not having a good night.
In most traditional tarot decks this card is called Justice.
The card is associated with Libra, an air sign, so no help there. I think the
real message here is about being artistic, which requires the blending of
things. So both.
