Twin Peaks Spoilers Ahead

For me, the most fascinating part of last night’s episode was a confirmation on my own theories regarding the mythology of Twin Peaks. In that its really about groups of magicians fighting to create their own version of reality. Lodge is the term used by most masonic groups to describe their organization. It is also used by several occult groups like the Golden Dawn. The black and white floor pattern and the red curtains are used by many of these groups in their temple rooms.

In episode twelve we see the rebirth of the Blue Rose Lodge. Their numbers being decimated in the last struggle to control the nexus point of Twin Peaks, they are finally regrouping by adding Tammy and Diane into their numbers. Why do I say Diane? She may be more than just a mole in the organization. She adds balance to their numbers who are all on the path of order. She fulfills the role of the “Man From Another Place” and confirms this by using the phrase, “Let’s rock.” She may ultimately betray the group, but just like Judas is necessary for Christ fulfilling his role in the crucifixion so that Jesus can ascend, they may need Diane to bring them closer to the source at Twin Peaks.

It is my belief that the lodge formed over that convenience store, which was created by the atomic bomb, now controls Twin Peaks and that the forces of darkness and chaos have corrupted it. They tried to bring Agent Cooper into their fold in order to restore balance, but he too was corrupted by the demon BOB.

There may also be more than two lodges operating here, and each lodge has their own internal strife and politics, and may even have some members that have cross-membership.
