@Kallista_gs: “The south will rise again! #Occupywalmart!”
So…For the lulz and #solidarity. lol <3 altho, I actually think it’s a fabulous idea.. a lot of people in places with no big cities hang out there anyway because there is nothing left of their towns after walmart moves in. Think about it…say you want a revolution, man.

As the owner of both a malamute and a corgi, I have to say this would be the smartest, goofiest, stinkiest, dog ever. I love my dogs, but these are traits you do not want to mix.
corgi + husky

Please reblog this, Tumblr.
My name is Kelly Schomburg, I’m the girl with the red hair in these pictures. I was protesting at the Occupy Wall Street march yesterday when I and several other women were sprayed with mace and subsequently arrested. Many have already seen the video, which has been spreading like wildfire over twitter, Facebook, tumblr, and other video feeds, along with hundreds of other photos and videos. This is my recount of what happened.
…capitalism is basically a system where everything is for sale, and the more money you have, the more you can get. And, in particular, that’s true of freedom. Freedom is one of the commodities that is for sale, and if you are affluent, you can have a lot of it. It shows up in all sorts of ways. It shows up if you get in trouble with the law, let’s say, or in any aspect of life it shows up. And for that reason it makes a lot of sense, if you accept capitalist system, to try to accumulate property, not just because you want material welfare, but because that guarantees your freedom, it makes it possible for you to amass that commodity…what you’re going to find is that the defense of free institutions will largely be in the hands of those who benefit from them, namely the wealthy, and the powerful. They can purchase that commodity and, therefore, they want those institutions to exist, like free press, and all that.
Another lovely piece from Paulo de Loyola.

Magick Working Journal
09/26/11
In meditation today I continued to use the roman numeral visualization to control my four-fold breath. It works well and is a keeper. I also visualized Baphomet again. This was more of a summoning than him coming unbidden. He imparted no new information, but didn’t seem put-out to be there.
During meditation I felt as if someone I have known was trying to contact me, or thinking of me. I hope she’s okay.
During banishing, my index finger now automatically goes over the cross-piece of my sword. It seems more natural that way, a more stable grip. Not effective for using a sword in combat but seems to be good for ritual. A small detail, but perhaps significant.
I have been thinking about magickal terminology and once again entertaining the idea of writing a book on magick. I’m not sure if I really have enough experience, but I may give it a shot anyway. It can only be good for me in my own practice. A new blog post may be in the works.
Dream Journal
09/25-09/26
I dreamt I was the main character from my novel. A wizard who works as a spy for the US government. In the dream I went to futuristic version on New Orleans during Mardi Gras. The city sky-line was Bladerunner-esqu with shifting neon, huge arcropolis buildings, and glaring video screens. I met up with a local man and he gave me a brief tour.
We were given new iPhones, special ones that were encrypted for security. We then explored one of the huge condominium buildings, looking for our suspect. We found him, and he invited us to a dinner party, extremely decedent and somewhat obnoxious in it’s excesses.
I’m not sure how I feel about brand names showing up in my dreams. I admit I enjoy my iPhone greatly, and consider it one of my main magickal tools. I’m old enough to appreciate having a computer in my pocket. On the other hand, I have no love of the company or the brand, its simply the device that works best for me.
