Found in Midtown Manhattan on June 21st, 2010, the Gutter Bible opens a doorway to entities beyond our scope of understanding. This book includes an exact reproduction of a true grimoire created in the modern age. A journal produced by a mind with a direct link to alien consciousness more real than any medieval constructions or author’s fancy.

Must still be earned…

Psychonauts of The Order of Emergent Magi have plumbed the depths of the Gutter Bible and returned with a unique magical system. Unlike previous magical paradigms, all of its revelations are the direct result of ritual. Emergent Magick (EMK) takes form through the essence of magick itself.

Time for Tarot

Old Frater Threskiornis is feelin’ like a walk on the dark
side. I’ll take requests for free one card tarot readings until about 12:30 AM
EST using the Necronomicon Tarot

Warning – this deck often likes to show
people things they don’t like to see. It may be something you need to know, but
usually it is unpleasant.

If you want a free one card reading, drop a question in my
Ask box.

Before you ask, however, consider throwing a few bucks at my
paypal, which can be found in the right hand column at the website for my
podcast – scrollofthoth.com.

I’ll even do a bibliomancy reading for you using the dread
Gutter Bible. I have no idea what fuck up shit it will tell you.*

I also do more detailed three card readings for $15. For
those light some incense, break out the florida water, and call on the
ancestors.

So, go ahead and send me an Ask with your question. One card
pulls are technically free, but priority will be given to those who donate.

*I wouldn’t charge someone for a Gutter Bible reading. I’m
sure you’ll pay for it one way or the other 😉

Gutter Bible Introduction

I’ve had some people asking what the Gutter Bible is, so I am posting the entire introduction again to help clarify.

Foreword

Perhaps the less said
about this book the better. The publishers were tempted to release the tome
without comment, but the realization that few would understand the volume in
and of itself precluded this route.

For our purposes, the story
begins on June the 21st, of the year 2010, when a small group of
magicians, including Frater Zentra El, wandered the late-night streets of
Manhattan in a state of deep chemognosis. Upon spotting the book lying in the
gutter, he at first mistook it for one of his own magical journals, which are
kept in similar composition books. To his surprise, it contained magical wisdom
far deeper than he had previously understood. The discovery that day was in
fulfillment of several months of intensive work in the paradigm of H.P.
Lovecraft and the Mythos; a series of rituals performed to make contact with
the Old Ones.

Who actually penned the
Gutter Bible? That remains a mystery to this day. It could simply be the
ramblings of an escaped mental patient. Perhaps the writer had some magical
training, perhaps not. It could have been transmitted by a goetic spirit, or
dropped through the cracks in reality. Close examinations have determined only
two things: that it is written in at least three different languages and that
the author probably identified as female. Perhaps a current incarnation of the
Mad Arab Abdul Alhazred?

The only certainty is
that the writer, whoever or whatever it may be, touched something beyond most
people’s limited understanding of the universe. Spend just a few minutes
examining the pages and you’ll find yourself in a state of gnosis[1].
Deep analysis finds passages of psychological and emotional significance that
go beyond what a “stable” mind can comprehend.

For this purpose alone,
the Gutter Bible would be worth years of intensive study. Simply using it as a
portal to gnosis itself leads to spectacular results. Thankfully, some have
delved deeper.

Upon retrospect, this
Scribe cannot believe that when, and where, and most importantly, who, found
the Gutter Bible can be mere chance. This wisdom wanted to be found, and it
chose a group of magicians capable of understanding the importance of what they
had received, and the ability to use it.

After months of study,
Frater Zentra El and Soror Panthera, by means of divination and illumination, came
to a momentous conclusion-–that what they possessed was a basis for that which
has been sought after by magicians for decades if not centuries. They had found
a cipher to create a system of pure magick for the modern era.

Since the dawn of
civilization, when the shaman was usurped by the priest, magick has been polluted
by religion and materialism. Since that time, magick has devolved into an
intellectual pursuit, with the roadmaps for understanding the underpinnings of
reality created by philosophers and viziers.

They, consciously or
subconsciously, created systems that reinforced their religious and political
agendas. Over time, magick became enslaved to Judeo-Christian philosophy in the
West, and Hindu-Taoist philosophy in the East. No matter how revelatory the
nature of any system’s basis seemed to be, it still contained the elements of
the theology understood by its founders.[2]
The Gutter Bible has the unique advantage of being truly “found” wisdom that
bypasses the filters of previous revelations.

Although the initial
workings were framed in the context of Lovecraftian magick, the Gutter Bible
itself contains none of that pretext. It is not simply a regurgitation of ideas
based on the writings of a New England pulp writer. It is not a collection of
ill-defined, pop-culture entities overlaid upon previous magical systems. Other
than the basic idea of other dimensional beings that exist hidden between the
spaces, what developed as Emergent Magick (EMK), came entirely and directly
through unique magical ritual.

The Order of Emergent
Magi’s recognition and formation of these properties is perhaps the greatest
gift to magick in generations.

Emergent
Magick

What the Order does not do
with the revelation is perhaps more important than what it is creating. We did
not perform an in-depth intellectual analysis of the text. We do not seek
translation. Nor do we wish to find the writer on the physical plane for
further clarification. Correspondences are strictly forbidden.

We realize that the only
true path to understanding the wisdom contained was through magick itself.
Enlisting the aid of Frater Haquan, Soror Panthera, and a variety of magicians
throughout Europe and the United States, the Order plumbed the depths of the
Gutter Bible using divination, evocation, and invocation. Through their magick
they opened the door to a cosmos both frightening and awe inspiring, and found
an entity of purest magick.

This Scribe encourages
you to do the same: to find a name or a passage in the Gutter Bible and make it
the source for your own magical workings. Don’t try to analyze intellectually
what you have read before you seek your own revelation in a gnostic state.

To help facilitate this, we
include the base methods used by OEM, and a fraction of our own findings. We
call this system Emergent Magick, (EMK), and we seek other proficient,
self-realized magicians to join the Order to further develop the practice.

Please email emergentmagick@gmail.com for information on further updates to
this volume, new publications, events hosted by OEM, and places to share your
own findings.

[1] In
this context, gnosis refers to alternate states of consciousness used for
magical purposes.

[2]
For example, while Thelema claims to be the revelations of Aiwass through
Crowley, Crowley could only relate the wisdom through his own understanding of
Egyptian and Christian symbolism.

The Gutter Bible PDF

Normally, I am not an opponent of electronic publications. But the Gutter Bible, being image based and not text based, is one of those things that truly is much better accessed as a physical book.

What I like about ebooks is that I can sell them much cheaper, and I hate people not having access to information because they can’t afford it. Here’s the deal, just for my tumblr followers, if you have PayPal I will sell you a PDF copy of the Gutter Bible. I’ll even let you name your price. Just contact me by fanmail or ask.
