Anyone who has followed this blog long enough knows I’m a huge NIN fan. Not only is their new EP titled, “Bad Witch,” but they will be playing the Aragon Ballroom in October.
Despite being a fan for over twenty years, I have never been to a show. I find watching concerts at stadiums and outdoor arenas pointless. The tickets are always hard to get and expensive. Trent has decided to sell tickets only at the box office for this one, and it just so happens I will be near Chicago on May 19th when they go on sale. The Aragon Brawlroom as we called it back in the day is a relatively small venue where you can actually see the band.

Hey folks, I know you have seen this post a lot from me lately, but I have found etsy and other outlets pretty useless for promoting my tarot readings. If anyone has a better place I can be advertising my work I would love some advice.
I usually don’t post these publicly but I have been having a hard time communicating with some of my winners for free three card readings because of the shitty tumblr interface. I really want them to get their tarot. So this is for @intheredcircle.

The deck I am using for your reading is the Tarot of
Ceremonial Magick created by Lon Milo DuQuette.
Card 1 – Your near
past or current situation: Ten of Wands
The only reason why you keep your current position is that
you have learned to do it with the least amount of effort. The thing is, you
are like the dog in the burning coffee shop—everything is not fine. The shit is
on fire and it’s time to jump ship. Either someone higher up has taken a
dislike to you or the whole enterprise is about to go belly up.
Card 2 – The near
future or the thing you need: Ten of Disks
The second ten in a row, which lends weight to this card. The
career you decide to move to will provide well. It can pay off in actual cash
or in peace of mind, or even both. Enjoy it and show gratitude, and it will
serve you even further. This new position will also help you provide for
others, which will be its own reward.
Card 3 – The
resolution or what happens after: X Fortune
In the long term however, I see your financial situation being fickle and subject to ups and downs. Money may not stay in your hands long.
While some risk is necessary, stay away from high risk financial decisions such
as gambling and short term loans. Going into things with common sense and some
financial competency will mitigate the hard times.

Lovecraftian beings, to representations of ideas.

Card: Cthulhu
I feel as though he needs no
introduction, but just in case… Cthulhu is the most famous creation of H.P
Lovecraft. He sleeps (or lies dead) beneath the sea waiting for when the stars
are right and he returns to feast on the souls of the living. His dreams affect
artists and madman, driving them to fits of torpor and frenzied insanity.
Of note, in the story, The Shadow Over Innsmouth, Lovecraft
implies that Cthulhu and Dagon may be one in the same. In that story, Dagon
(Cthulhu) helps those who serve him by revealing to them treasures that have been
lost at sea.
Call on Cthulhu when you
need a bit of extra cash to get by. You can also call on him to drive your work
enemies to implode and prove themselves incompetent. To summon Cthulhu, cast
something precious into the sea. A lake or stream will do in a pinch. Chanting,
Ia! Ia! Cthulhu Fhatgn!” while you do it won’t hurt.
